I love this place…… I love meeting my bestie on Friday night after work, we have a couple glasses of reds, and share the best mushroom pizza in the world! The staff are always happy and it’s a nice relaxed atmosphere. I love the chase the Ace game I haven’t won yet but I’m working on it! Yeh the drinks are a little pricey (for the better brands) but enjoyable and I’m there to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Cheers!!
Some of the other review for this place made me laugh! Oceans is a bar where you go to have a good time – leave your pretence at home!!! The food yes its average but the atmosphere is great – people are friendly and the staff are always having a laugh and a good time. The outside area is smoking so if that offends go somewhere else – if you want to have a drink, chat, dance then this is the place for you!
Yummy had The Crispy Skin Barramundi and it was perfect cooked to perfection will definitely have it again. Pizza was also nice too. Great thanks Ocean One
My only gripe with this place is that it doesn’t have eftpos facilities at the bar….otherwise good location and good selection of beer. Also if you’re going to put a ping pong table in the back corner maybe put it away from patrons, our table was right in front of it and the ball kept flying over to us or landing under our chair. We could’ve moved but if that place was busy then you’d have to no option.
Absolutely terrible management- hugely understaffed, food took 40 minutes to arrive, order mistakes, management can’t fork out for an eftpos machine in 2016? seriously?You’re lucky you have people who are willing to work for you.Got home and was sick within 2 hours of eating the fish.
Went here for dinner and drinks last night. Ordered my meal and drinks at the counter for me and my partner. The guy behind the bar returned me my change, and before I could make a comment that it was incorrect, he already had the additional change ready to give me. He knew he short changed me and was waiting to see if I would pick up. Worth noting if you don’t typically check the change returned to you. Very sneaky and sly. Otherwise, food was good. I’ll be telling this story to all that are going for a beer down at Scarborough, plenty of other trustworthy bars down there i’ll be taking my money to in the future.
