Came here today for brunch arrived at about 11:15am when it wasnt too busy, they sat us in the corner and no one served us until we waved for attention. After we got served we waited about 30-40 mins for our food. We ordered a big breakfast and eggs benedict with the sauce on the side. Most of the food on the plate was lovely except the spinach wasnt washed and the sausage was raw inside ! It was difficult to get the waiters attention but when we did they took the sausage back and replaced it with a fresh one.
The Wild Fig in Scarbs is a bit of a waste of precious real estate. Harsh, but fair. You can’t sit and enjoy the stunning view because you are distracted by the circus taking place inside this once-reasonably good cafe.Went in for breakfast one morning and was greeted my some really unfriendly and seemingly shitty staff who seemed like they either really didn’t want to be there or they didn’t want us to be there.Decor is old and dowdy. The ‘updated’ breakfast menu had 5 options – 5. That’s it. WTFHopefully the revamp of the Scarborough beach foreshore means a revamp of the surrounding eateries. Out with the old and in with the new.j.a.s x
