Food was a little hit and miss for the price. I had a pumpkin pasta dish that had an overpowering sweet taste, and was a very small portion. However the 3 others I dined with did enjoy their mains. We got the dessert special which was a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake, and again it was a little underwhelming. Would perhaps go again and try some other dishes.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Kite recently – the blackened salmon ! Cooked to perfection and absolutely divine ! They also do a delicious frose which is reasonably priced and beautifully presented. The half price pizza nights on Thursday nights are another winner – it’s good to see the pizzas looking as fresh and amazing on half price night as they do during the week. The cocktails can be a bit hit and miss depending on who is making them, so I just stick with the frose and wine now. I’ve always enjoyed the Kite’s desserts too. Some of the female waitstaff can be unfriendly and slightly rude which is always uncalled for. But it’s good to see the majority of the staff now are friendly and the service is great.

Waiting well over 35 minutes for our order we approached the manager Joanne to ask how much longer till our order. She was quite disrespectful and rolled her eyes at us. We waited 10 minutes longer and asked the same question to which she rolled her eyes and honestly didnt care about us and tried to palm us off. We ended canceling our meal which was a process during which she was rude and very undermining. Living local we wont return.
