I have to say that having read the reviews below, I can only assume that the standard of the product offered here has dropped somewhat over time. I had fish and chips from here last Saturday. The fish was tasty but very thin and coated in a reasonably thick layer of batter which, whilst tasty, was actually too much and probably more in volume than the fish it covered. The chips were crisp, but were very obviously commercially produced rather than hand cut from fresh potato, which is actually disappointing. On the plus side, the establishment does sell mushy peas which, for anyone originally from the UK (especially the North) will be an essential accompanyment. It would be good to think that the fish could be cut thicker and coated in a little less batter and that the chips could be fresh cut.

Hi there my name is ben, this was a really gret plac the fish was and i like how they srev wel too but best of all was the best thing which was really a great fish and chip ok. also i would say that it could have some thingas that could be a littel bit beta but hey so could all of we but i guess thats what makes us huan haha thabkyou shelley fish great one good haha
