It’s a nice intimate establishment with thoughtful and attentive service. We came for a degustation menu deal and were so impressed by the culinary crafting and flavours. Each dish was carefully conceived and the elements were wonderful together. The lamb was particularly gorgeous. We enjoyed it so much – definitely a special night out.

Amazing produce prepared with intelligence, finesse and tact. Tasting menu is always delicious and the price is very reasonable if you can find a promotion online or in the newspaper. Service, timing, presentation and flavour combinations all impeccable, particularly the ‘death by chocolate’ dessert which is absolutely out of this world.

@PetiteMortRestaurant has been our go-to venue on special occasions . Food has been phenomenal every single time and service is always top-notch.Cured salmon was super fresh and the zingy kimchi sorbet was the star. Cucumber gel was a cooling addition and the dish simply looked gorgeous. My gnocchi were the ultimate soft pillows and could be used to mop up the runny egg yolk. Beautiful mushrooms made the dish all the more earthy.Duck breast was perfection, we could have cut it with a spoon. The smooth celeriac pure was super tasty and duck terrine was delish! Our barramundi was the best ever, it was super moist and just flaked off like jelly at the touch of our knives. We also loved the salted plum and fennel combo on the bottom. Sooo good! That passion fruit souffl rose perfectly and had an amazing acidic flavour. Baileys custard added a creamy component and really balanced out the tartness. You wouldn’t think tamarind parfait and champagne sorbet would work together but they did. The flavour combo was inventive and so refreshing!Having had both 5-course dego ($115) and 3-course menu ($64), the latter to me is of better value. The portion sizes are bigger and the choices are more interesting. Having said that whichever decision you make, Chef Todd would make sure it’s a fantastic one . Also thanks Martin for always looking after us instagram.com
