This place is a great spot in suburbia if you’re in the area and want a tasty beverage. It is what it is though, they serve booze (if you can catch them open) and you sit on totally random couches and seats that aren’t always the most practical or convenient but if you want to feel like you’re in a house and want someone else to serve you and do the dishes afterwards this is the place. Great fries.
Lovely funky bar with out the feeling of try hard . The owner works really hard and remembers everyone’s name. The bars serves lots of different types of beers, wine etc that you most likely haven’t had before! Highly recommend

We like this neighbourhood, unpretentious, dive. We always see the same man behind the bar and the vibe is more a casual social club than a destination. This is our go to, local, one drink, simple snack food, Friday night place! Love the fact that I don’t need to dress up and the soft furnishings encourage intimate conversation, not keeping up with the Jones!
Excellent. Great bar, music, atmosphere, food and not too pricey. Much prefer The Nic to its predecessor The Suite, which had an air of snootiness to it.
April 2016Great revamp of this place. Fitout is sophisticated, service is excellent and squid was top notch. A great new place to share with friends.
