This place takes me back to my childhood – I spent many evenings waiting for fish’n’chips here! Once upon a time they were famous for their fresh chips (more than one of my high school friends had the job of putting potatoes through the slicer for hours on end). I wish they’d return to that! More recently the fish’n’chips have been fine, not outstanding – there’s some good specials. The potato scallops could do with being half the thickness though!
