This place used to be our go to for a good meal. Always had great food even though the beer selection is average and it looks like the set of Bogan Hunters inside. Some competition came along around the corner and the incompetent management obviously dropped nuggets and turned this place to crap. For starters, if you want to deter people, charging them for parking out the front is a great way considering parking is free all around Rockingham. Secondly the food has turned to crap. Not sure if its a new chef or if theyre just trying to scrimp but putting uncooked pancetta in a salad and telling your customer its ok as its cured is just stupid/lazy. Bacon is cured-it doesnt mean I want to eat it raw. The bread was as soggy as a sao at a university campus and the prawns tasted like they were fresh from a Vietnamese sewer. Oh well, at least the competition has good food. This is a great example of crumbling under pressure.

Nice pub food, especially love the reef and beef here and also the Thai prawns. The portions sizes are quite large and the staff are very very friendly, especially the girl with curly name I didn’t catch her name but she was very accommodating and makes sure we enjoy ourselves every time we visit
