Decent tea and coffee here. It seems a strange place to have a cafe but the industrial chic decor works well with the open fronted shed. We also ordered a croissant each and while the filling was perfectly melted and delicious, the poor croissant was flatter than a slice of sandwich bread.
Nothing can fault the coffee and prices for this Perth suburban coffee. great sandwiches, the ham and cheese croissant with apple is excellent, as its a little different. come here if you are in the area and want a great coffee.
Very disappointed with my visit today. To be told by one of the staff that my children were making too much noise playing and that i would need to keep them quiet as a customer complained. They weren’t even making that much noise, how are you suppose to explain to a baby that you have to be quiet when your happy and having fun!If some one is offended by the noise of children playing why go to a cafe which has toys and if the Cafe doesn’t want kids making too much nose don’t have toys available for them to play with and don’t give the kids balloons. its that simple!
I’ve previously visited the 3 Ducks 1-2 times per week, spending approximately $10 per visit and been very happy with the service. At all these visits I’ve ordered tea and had a reward card stamped, benefitting from a free drink when I have visited enough times. Yesterday I visited, ordered a tea and was told ‘TEAS are NOT INCLUDED in the rewards scheme’. No reason was given and the lady was quite surly about it.How DISCRIMINATORY and ‘WHY HAS THEIR POLICY SUDDENLY CHANGED?’Will definitely not be visiting again and will be SPENDING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE, where my custom is valued!
Have not eaten here yet but i have to talk about the coffee. Thanks 3 Fat Ducks for bringing pretty great coffee to Rockingham! i love living here, but for the last 3 years (south of Fremantle) the coffee I’ve been getting has been ….. rubbish. But these guys have got it going on. Delicious rich strong. The food I have seen here looks great and i’m sure i’ll sit down and have a bite at some point, but in the meanwhile all i can do is highly recommend the coffee (latte or mocha especially) if you’re out this way.
Awesome little joint, I love popping down there with my wife and baby girl. The menu, whilst not huge, does everything just right and I firmly believe that it is better to make a few things amazingly than a lot of things poorly. The deserts are always excellent and the service always comes with an amazing smile. The chilled out atmosphere is perfect for a nice Saturday lunch.
Hmmmmm. New place so I don’t want to be too harsh but worst chai I’ve ever had it’s just hot milk. No flavor or spice. Opened the lid and it’s basically white still. Disappointing
