Amazing!! Food was to die for, staff were super friendly and the price is reasonable considering how delicious it all was. We ordered the pad Thai and the Penang curry with some rice and I just couldn’t stop eating it was all so good! The food is beautifully presented and the location is just another bonus. I also like the fact the had heaters to keep you warm in the winter.
Went for lunch with 6 people who ordered entrees and mains not one meal came out the same time as someone else so we were each eating solo, the waitress tried making me pay $80 twice on card playing dumb as if she didn’t no what was happening, then we noticed a sign on the roof about a special I payed full price for. When I questioned that I was told I should of told her that and it’s not her fault she can’t help go away I then said you work here and I thought you should be he one t inform me on this she then got extremely angry very fast and went off cussing at me and chasing us out the restaurant. When I called the owner disgusted he told me we are all tired. I’ve worked in hospitality for years and 14 hour shifts I don’t accept that for an excuse. I don’t recommend coming here being treated this way by such rude staff Still never got our money back!
Lovely and fresh best Thai in Mandurah.. Friends had massaman curry and Hokkien noodles.. All lovely. The view is beautiful, relaxed atmosphere.
I was a little hesitant to try this place after reading a couple of negative reviews, but I figured nothing beats personal experience, and after a less than positive experience with a rather arrogant proprietor at another popular local Thai restaurant, decided to take my dad (and my canine companions) here for lunch instead, and am glad I did! Where else can you have amazing views, yummy food and efficient, friendly service!I have to admit after reading the negative reviews, I did add up the bill in my head and the 2013 accusation of overcharging seems to be nonsense, because it was spot on! Hopefully that old review will get pushed off the bottom of the page and stop putting people off.The food: Best spring rolls I’ve had for ages! If you’re hoping for visible oil and you think that too much salt(‘seasoning’ according to the TV gurus)=flavour, go elsewhere, these were crunchy with a delicate flavour of spices complimenting the flavour of the fresh, firm vegies. Real food with real flavour.Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Panang Curry: Both super tasty and we couldn’t pick a favourite between them. The consensus was ‘whichever one we were eating at the time’. The presentation of the dishes was a delight, with carrots carved into lotus flowers and the pad thai served in a stunning egg basket with chili on the side for those not quite so adventurous.Icy cold water delived to the table as we sat down and a very flavoursome jasmine tea with the meal was perfect on a warm day, and they brought out an extra large container of water for my ‘extra large dog’ ;)It’s not super-cheap, but the price reflected the superb location, the priceless views and the fact that this is not a cheap takeaway joint. Just jumped into my top 5 Mandurah restaurants, hopefully will stay there through future visits :)I am looking forward to going back soon!
$15 lunch special with a soft drink or a glass of house wine. I have been here about 5 or 6 times now and is probably the only nice thing Mandurah has to offer at an affordable price. The laksa and the phad Thai are both delicious.
Delicious!. We were so lucky to get in. We arrived wth a group of six to be told by a waitress that the kitchen was closed. Our luck was in though, an older waitress overheard, she and seated us and we quickly ordered. The food was absolutely divine and the same waitress took care of us, her service was amazing. We weren’t rushed which lead to a most enjoyable dining experience. All in all a big thumbs up to this restaurant, we will all be back again for sure.
This restaurant was recommended by locals, and with out a doubt it is the best Thai I have had for a long time.
