The szechuan beef was overcooked,dry and cold. It reminded me of beef jerky. The combination kway teow was not very good compared to other ones I’ve had In other similar restaurants in Perth. It was bland at most… and the dishes were overpriced, costing us over 70 dollars for a dinner that was below our expectations.
I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.
Fresh old faithfuls. This is a lovely, traditional Chinese Restaurant. I would recommend it because the food is fresh and not overly salty or fatty. The Birds Nest is lovely.

Nice Food, Great Service. Came here with my girlfriend, grandmother and mother.The service was really good. The owner was socialising with customers and looking for feedback, everyone was friendly, definitely top marks for service.While a little expensive, the food was fresh-tasting and well cooked with tender squid, steak, nice moist fish etc.Overall, the fare is pretty standard for a Chinese restaurant in Australia and it is made with care. Definitely don’t regret going there.
Pretty expensive for average food. I’ve gotten takeout here a few times, and it’s pretty westernized and average. Nothing really special about it. Which I wouldn’t mind but the prices are quite steep for the quality of food. The decor inside isn’t very inviting so I’ve never eaten in, only had takeout.I did really enjoy their duck, which was surprisingly tender and moist, but it’s not really enough to keep me coming back. I wouldn’t really say it’s bad, it’s very pretty average and there’s not really enough of a reason to keep coming back
Always consistent . Clean 70’s environment.Good basic oldfashioned chinese food. Never had a bad dish.Take your mum for sunday dinner.
