To summarise – not worth it. Have been here a handful of times over last couple of years and have never been impressed. Today though certainly pushed into the zone of voicing disappointment. Service has always been well below average. Today was no exception. Quiet and three people behind the counter, avoiding serving anyone until I was about to walk away. The food we ordered today we left more than half of it – bland, dry, really ordinary. The only positive I can comment on was the young guy behind the counter at the bar. Ordered a couple of glasses of wine and he was prompt, friendly and delivered to out table with some enthusiasm.
I would rate 0 minus if i couldis just disgusting i spent $50 for this plate of aeafood overcooked and they say to me no squid and no bla bla bla
The very definition of mediocre. Great location and absolutely dull food. Poor value and just tasted totally average. Not cheap either and much worse than my local fish and chips. Can’t recommend anything here.
Fast service. Large selection. Batter quite heavy however fish cooked to flaky perfection.Another good option as opposed to Sharkies down the way.
always great food we always go for the monday tuesday wednesday lunch and dinner special it is always fantastic and the view is great to only thing that is anegative about the place they dont clear there tables away quick enough we watched how long it was and it took nearly 25 minutes before someone cleared which is not good other than that would highly recommend the food and the coffee staff are very friendly and helpful thankyou.
Sadly we had a terrible experience here. My partner and I recently came for lunch, we had been craving some fresh seafood and thought the seafood platter sounded delicious. The food was presented nicely but…….it was COLD, the fish was floury so was either old or had been cooked for so long it had dried out to the point it was uneatable. We ended up leaving over half of the platter untouched and left feeling unsatisfied and down $45. So so disappointed. We will never be returning again!
Best crabs I’ve had in ages! Chips were delicious, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside! You could even pull your boat up on the side of the jetty and jump up n grab it
