Have tried on many occasions to use this bakery, as it is just down the road from us, and it has never impressed. Christmas pies to doughie, hot cross buns not spicy enough, meat pies lack meat the list goes on. One thing that they can do rather well are their bagels.
Two things…. There are only two items I regularly purchase from here:Polish jam filled doughnuts and potato and polish cheese pierogi dumplings which are to die for!Skip the rest.
First time experience-highly recommend the almond croissant filled with custard. It was a melt in your mouth experience!! Bought some for the teenagers try – YUMMO!!!!!
Went here for a quick snack. Not the best service as we had to yell from the front of the store. We had a MASSIVE hedgehog slice for $4 (I think). It looked like th value of $7. However, there was not much taste. It was just biscuit, coconut and chocolate. Quite bland after a while.
Very nice cheesecakes! Would be great if they made this into a bigger sit down cafe.
Just a weird vibe comes from this place. Milkshake was like a litre would have been good value but it tasted terribly bad
Not that great. Their polish jam donuts are nice though probably not exactly the way my grandmother used to make it. We ordered some cake and it was stale and tasted of refrigerator. The pies are nice though bordering on warm rather than hot, which is a bit disconcerting. Hopefully they aren’t microwaved, I didn’t ask.Service was okay though, they seem to have a loyal local following they are friendly with. Give it a try, but overall in our experience I have to sadly give it a thumbs down.
