I’ve been here a few times now and it’s the perfect brunch spot after a morning beach visit with your dog. The food is delicious and service is always friendly and fast. I even stopped for lunch last time and had a delicious pasta dish. The owners are Italian so pasta is always a good option!! 🙂
Lovely service. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely food and coffee. Live music on a Sunday. Right on the beach. What more could you ask for! Def worth a visit!
I like the re-done interior and exterior. Much more inviting than the old cafe that lived here, and more suited to a beach front location. We were a large group of 10, ordered only drinks and were not disappointed. The staff seem pretty friendly and eager to please. I look forward to going back and having a meal here.
Quite a cold and overcast Saturday morning. Wasn’t overly busy ..lovely coffee and yummiest cafe breakfast I’ve had in a while. Rosti Benedict …so good.
Came to this nice caf by the beach in South Freo. Lots of customers getting their takeaway coffee, but I was the first in for brekkie. Got a nice table by the window to watch the beach and the world go by. I ordered a long Mac topped up and the Shakshuka with tomato, onions, beans, chorizo, eggs, goat cheese and crusty toast. Coffee was excellent; hot and very bold flavors. Loved my cuppa! Brekkie looked wonderful served on a board in a ceramic bowl. Toast was tasty, but the Shakshuka was a little lackluster for me. The flavours were very mild, perhaps a little more tomato sauce needed to make it less dry and give it some much needed acidity, and the chorizo could have been a little spicier to give it strong flavours. I have had some excellent Shakshuka with strong flavor in Freo, and this unfortunately, was not one of them. Will give their lunch a go sometime as I do love the spot, and the coffee is good.
