Eh, maybe I caught the chef during an off moment because that’s all I can say about the meal I had at Ootong. I ordered the potato rosti eggs hollandaise. The bacon it came with was burnt to a crisp – I like my bacon crispy but not so hard that it’s inedible…. This was the first downfall, the hollandaise was SO bland and did not have any lemon nodes as hinted at in previous reviews I’ve read (which is why I was excited). To top it off the potato rosti was just a bland square of mashed potato and a tiny bit of herbs – I thought it might have some nicer flavours incorporated but I was wrong. Overall I was really disappointed in this meal and considering the great reviews I guess I ordered at the wrong time of day or something, sad to say I won’t be giving them another chance for quite a while.
Wow… havent been to this place in soo long. Was very impressed. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was lovely… it was soo busy and the service was just love and the food came out very quick. The fresh juice you could create yourself and it was delicious. Well priced. No complaints!!
