Dear oh dear…….they don’t have a clue. Ordered scrambled egg on toast and coffee, pretty basic to get right? No, eggs or perhaps egg, not much of it was almost warm, rubbery and nothing added. It had obviously been left in the frying pan for a while. Toast, almost warm, could not cut with the knife, really hard. Butter rock hard. Try spreading that on cold toast!Coffee almost warm, or think it was coffee, it certainly had milk in it. An d they charged for the experience.Keep clear of this place.
This cafe should be great, but it is diabolical. Staff were rude and seemed amazed when I asked for my filthy table to be cleaned. Coffee was poor by any standard and arrived 20 mins before our breakfast. Service was painfully slow and when the food arrived it was burnt. The burnt bacon and eggs were hidden inside the toast. When we complained about the state of the food the staff were indifferent. Cafe was full of dogs which made it smell of damp dog and was generally a mess. I wouldnt come back to this place if a gun was held to my head. The chef has given up.
Loved the breakfast! Fried and Poached Eggs soft and delicious and the veggie breakie could have fed two. Better then expected based on reviews and certainly bettter than the offerings at Dome and Coffee club.
One of our favorite weekend hangouts. The fish and chips are great and the portions are massive and great value. I have been working my way through the sandwiches and i have not been disappointed yet. The location is great and we always get a take away coffee after lunch and take the little one to the park or the beach.
Unfortunately we won’t be returning. My catchups with friends and family are over at this venue. We feel like we are at the airport or a bingo session with the name calling for order collection. Annoying!! Invest in table buzzers to avoid further customer loss.
We ain’t fancy, we ain’t cheap.. Paid $10 for a ham salad and cheese roll. When they noticed we had been waiting almost 30 minutes they went and checked, came back with a burger bun no butter or mayo. Good salad loaded with ham but no cheese which I paid an extra buck for. Quite underwhelming.
