Went there for take away tonight and the food was great and the man at the counter was excellent. Food is well priced and delicious. We are a big fan of the Himalaya Nepalese in Vic Park so its now great to find food that tastes just as good just down the road in South Lakes. Also very Gluten Free friendly. We will be going back to dine in next time in what looks to be a nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere.

First time take away from there after reading good reviews and was quite disappointed. Nice Nepalese rice and a fairlydecent keema nan but the chicken madras which I asked for hot was very mild and tasted just like a cream based sauce.( Not hot and sour with lemon as on the menu)Never had a madras like that before and believe me I’ve tried a few indian restaurants. Unless they gave me the wrong dish of course. Shame won’t be back soon
Delicious food and excellent very attentive customer service. Quiet and ambient atmosphere, really enjoyed our visit here and would highly recommend a visit. Plenty of attention to detail too from cloth napkins to perfect choice of music.
Do not let the history of the previous indian restaurant in this location deter.A very solid local Nepalese/Indian restaurant. Vindaloo had a perfect amount of heat and every dish I have tried (have been there twice now) has been very well spiced.Garlic Naans and Momo’s are a must!
Great way to Support the Nepalese Community – excellent food!!!. We had the opportunity of attending a Nepal Fundraiser last week and the food was absolutely delicious, service was friendly and the menu extensive! I would highly recommend this local restaurant for great ‘soul food’.
