This place is exactly what South Perth has been screaming out for awhile now. To start the wait staff were very friendly & accommodating on our arrival. It was a warm night & they made sure we could get a nice table inside. The starters we had were a sheer delight. Arancini & the meatballs were very tasty. We also ordered the fungi pizza which was beautiful. The mains arrived after we demolished the starters & they were just as good. The ravioli & gnocchi were top shelf & a sheer delight to the tastebuds. After we devoured those tasty species, we thought to give the profiteroles a go. Very nice indeed.All in all it was an awesome experience & I cant wait to go back soon as they will be having craft beers on tap.
Came for mid week dinner for 2. Have tried unsuccessfully in the past on the weekend to get a table (it’s a walk-in only basis & the waitlist can be huge), this restaurant always seems to be full. We started with some zucchini Fritti (ok, a bit too greasy), margherita pizza (average, base was not that great), duck pappardelle (a bit too heavy and a little lacking in flavour), and the black squid ink linguine (quite nice). Finished off with some home made gelato (pleasant). Food took an annoyingly long time to come out (we could see a lot of Uber eats orders being picked up which added to the frustration), & it was hard to get the attention of waitstaff who seemed run off their feet (but were polite when you managed to grab one). Ambience was not that great – no music, lots of tables crowded together and very noisy due to so many people talking in such close proximity. Not enough of a culinary experience to make me personally want to return anytime soon, but it’s a nice addition to the sorely lacking south Perth dining scene.

Loved the pizzas at automatic, exactly what I was looking for. Turn around time whether ordering for take away or dine is quick.
