We quite often breakfast at Gusto and love how consistent they are with quality. Any criticisms have only been minor, definitely not worth griping about. Today I tried a scone with my cuppa as I didn’t feel like my usual breakfast of eggs. It was so light and perfectly cooked with a very slight crumble. Probably best scone I have ever eaten.
This place is the legit go-to for any breakfast place. Actually people. The portions are big and really generous, best value for money ever. They also have really good food that’s balanced really well. Just the queue tho, try get in early.
What a gem of a place. We were walking past it to go elsewhere and stopped for a curious look at the menu. Well, the staff were so friendly and efficient that we stayed aaaand… not even one regret. I had the mushroom feast without the halloumi (whats wrong with me? next time I wont change the order) and my friend has the vegan bowl. Two thumbs up to all of it.
We had the herbed mushroom and big breakfast. The mushroom dish is delicious, flavourful mushroom paired with poached egg and haloumi with a side of butter and avo toast. Big breakfast was pretty average but filling. Coffee was good as well.
Food Order:Cheesy Scrambled Eggs with Sausage, Fetta and Toast – 4/5.Vegetarian Provincial – 5/5Milk Toast with Raspberry Jam, mascaporne and chocolate dust – 4/5Drinks:Turmeric Latte – 5/5Vanilla Milkshake – 5/5Total Bill: $70Hero Dish: cheesy scrambled eggs with sausage on toast. My only minor complaint would be that the toast was very hard to eat and cut into small pieces as well. So it would be great if the toast is easy to cut into next time. My mum had the same problem for her dish as well, she was struggling at times to cut it.Verdict: a great cafe spot situated in South Perth to have brunch with your family and friends. Lots of space inside the cafe with lovely staff always catering to your needs. Be sure to take free water with mint leaves placed in front of the glass cabinet at your convenience for a refreshing drink if you need while eating your food. Other than that, I had lovely experience in this cafe and will be definitely back again to try something else off their menu.
This place truly is one of the best brunch place in south perth. Always busy on the weekends and their food is an absolute delight! Tried this place a couple of times with different types of foods and its truly a treat! Their cheesy scramble eggs and crumpets are to die for, must try!
Be early or queue, for this is popular. We both were very happy with our satisfying concoctions and I recommend this cut above the average brekky joint.
