Got the special deal on groupon for these patisseries. Tried a few of their tarts and I prefer the passionfruit tart the most. There are not too sweet and quite reasonable price with the deal that is on.
Its like a reverse Tardis, huge on the outside and minuscule on the inside. The interior is a Woodwork class inspired fit out, cheap and amateurish. Sucked in by the signage for a Pulled Pork roll, decided to give this local cafe a whirl. First impressions no stock on show, what was on display was random food items. The roll was very very ordinary, a really crisp roll would have helped. This business model of having a commercial kitchen, and a cafe outlet (great for cash flow) is a great idea, the lack of produce, display, fit-out, will really hinder this plan.
Another cute little cafe that has opened in our area. Love the late closing time (5pm) which is rare and much needed around here.Great selection of food, wraps, sandwiches, muffins etc..We had 2 coffees which were nice without being amazing.Sitting outside was nice and they even brought out little one a free baby cinno.Recommended and we will be back.
They had a new year scoopon deal for breakfast. The servings were generous and the staff were excellent. I loved the fresh juice options they had on the menu. Overall, it was too good a deal and we enjoyed it 🙂
MK cafe is really a good option for breakfast. Food is very reasonably priced, generous serves, good quality. Maybe a better bread with the smashed avocado would be a good idea, and a little more attention to the coffee, but otherwise very worthy of a visit. The real treat though is MK Bistro by night. This is a great addition to the local evening scene and certainly fills a void. Simple but delicious and substantial meals at a very reasonable price. Steak, chicken, fish, lovely sauces, tasty sides – just what we need. Not sure how long it will last, but got a complimentary trio of lovely warm breads for a starter.BYO, and friendly service. Eaten there twice now and more than happy to return.
T8wy May 2016:1. Caramel Pork Rice – 3.5/5.0, Nice-ish. Enjoyed eating the chunky pork, wish the sauce has more flavour.2. Tartiflette – French potato bake – 4.0/5.0, Good. Love the creamy sauce, the flavour is balanced for taste buds. Then again I like most creamy food, so will have to compare with other tartiflette from other places.2015:1. Beef Rendang. 3.5/5. Ok.2. Bunny Chow. 4/5. Good. Nice spicy CurryThanks
Laurent did a good job asking customers for their emails . Now I get a weekly special menu every Monday. Every week he tests new dishes too, loving the Thai seafood salad with nam jim sauce and the bunny chow. Hope to see more varieties in the future.
