Set in an old subi home, it was a nice warm space for a winters night. Best dish was probably the beef fillet. Chicken liver parfait was also good but thought it was a bit strange it came with tip-top like toast. All in all a pleasant meal. Okay with the entertainment book discount but otherwise it would have been too expensive.
Bloody French. Wasnt very blood good. Nor French for that matter. Quiet, for a Friday night with only our table indoor. Youd think that would mean service right? One chap did the bar, the service, the ordering, the clearing. And none of it promptly. Actually the slowest and most haphazard Ive had in years. Food wasnt that much better. Youd think butter. But no. It was cream. Cream and more cream. Cream between the potatoes. Cream drenched into the sauces. An over cooked piece of duck confit and soggy potatoes. Or was it a not so fresh piece of fish I could have sourced at Coles on a creamy mayo excuse for a bed of salad. Add to that the very lacklustre and expensive wine list. The Bloody French isnt going to be around bloody long.
