This place always seems to be super busy every time I wander past but was calm today when I popped in for a chai latte and a treat. The chai was delicious and possibly my new favourite around Subi. Had a chocolate muffin to split and while tasty, it didn’t pack a very strong chocolate flavour. Great coffee also.
Large portion sized food with reasonable prices. We usually go for either the meat or vegetarian Breaky Plate and whatever else on the menu calls out to our appetite on that day. Super love their Wedges; we rarely skip this one whenever we’re here. Don’t forget to get them with Sweet Chilli and Aioli.Overall, service, food and coffee is good; though sometimes their quality can be compromised especially when they are busy, which is totally understandable. Staff do try and make up for whatever is not served right.
What a terrible cafe! They forgot to make my food. After being reminded they brought it out (30 mins later) and it was cold and gross (cold mug of baked beans anyone?) My son’s ($9.80) serve of chips were also cold and my friend’s ceasar salad was inedible. It took forever to get two coffees but the reason for the bad review is that we saw the cook/chef grab raw bacon with his hand and then grabbing a plate with food on it, ready to be served to a customer. Afterwards, the cook/chef merely wiped his hand to a tea towel. Simply gross. Raw bacon can be a significant health hazard so better not eat there if you want to avoid food poisoning!
Great space, very popular, coffee is good, bit sure about the name, but all good, seats are comfortable and colorful, lovely outdoor area, well done.
Service rude. Couldn’t even say good morning. Made it difficult to order sides. Food was great though, servings great and coffee came out prompt and hot. Open nice and early. Just need to work on customer service and they have nailed it!
Sign on door says they are open at 5.45am. If you go in there for a coffee or for some breakfast at this time the whole caf is completely stacked full of chairs and tables. They say you can still order either breakfast or a coffee but you get the pleasure of being seated amongst this mess and thenlistening to screeching sound of chairs and tables being re-arranged right up until after 6.00 am.They have been doing this every morning for the last few months and it looks like they do not plan on rectifying this issue. Completely disgraceful attitude from owners to do this to there customers.The Barista appears to be completely run off his feet this early in the morning because he has to do two jobs both making coffee and serving. Not uncommon to wait 10 minutes just for 1 coffee.Morale of the story: DONT GO TO CAFE CAFE FOR AN EARLY MORNING COFFEE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!
