This is a great little place. The decor is a little dated but the food was excellent. Sashimi was fresh and well prepared, Agedashi tofu is one of the best I’ve had. Tempura was light well cooked and not oily at all. A must try. I could not believe it was so quiet at this time of year!
Really good food with friendly and polite husband and wife owners. Has been consistently good for many many years. They always seem empty but have a lot of take away orders on the go
A hidden gem in Subiaco. It is never full but somehow the food was great.I like the way they design their restaurant with the traditional japanese seating.
Food here are delicious. We ordered one Assorted sashimi and Teriyaki beef which is perfect for two persons. Sashimi is very fresh with wonderful Miso soup. Simple but warm. Will come again!
It felt like this restaurant was run by one person and i was worried if our order was going to come out at all. But not to worry, the jap food here is traditional, honest and super delicious. Service is a bit thin but staff are warm and friendly. I would come here again for sashimi and teriyaki fish.
I am from Brisbane I have been to this place 4 times in the last 4 months. Good service, quality food every time. The price is very reasonable, and for a small restaurant with owner running the whole end to end operation. You just can’t fault it.
Love this place, my absolute favourite. I can eat so much food here. Quite often at other restaurants, halfway through the courses i kind of get over it and lose appetite a bit. Not so with cheers. The food here is simple but delicious. Favourite is the assorted sushi and sashimi, yakitori and their teriyaki dishes. But really everything tastes good and I’ve tried almost every entree and main on their menu. Oh and the Miso soup is the best. The owners are very nice and welcoming, i come here on average twice a week and we usually have a quick chat and a laugh at the end of the meal. Check it out!
