Very disappointing. My friends and I havent been here for a number of years but wanted to go here for a change. We were promptly seated by the friendly waitress. Everything seemed to be going ok. A waiter came and plonked the unopened bottle of wine on the table. DIY I guess. Biggest disappointment was the meal. My friends all had Tortellini al Panna – veal, chicken, cheese and mushroom. Some found cheese through their meals, while others had to search to find a small amount. Ditto the mushrooms. I had garlic prawns with fettuccine. All the meals were bland – we heaped Parmesan on to try and get a bit more flavour. Our dirty plates sat in front of us for what must have been a half hour. We finally asked for the bill and that was when we offered coffee or dessert. Too little, too late.

I ordered the sizzling prawns with a side steamed veg (ads up to be almost $40) the pot of prawns had exactly 4 prawns in it. Lucky I ordered the side of veggies and they give you a complimentary basket of bread. All the other meals tasted delicious and was very good size. But unfortunately I did have to fill up on bread.The service at this place is absolutely Amazing! I would love to go back!
I have been coming to this place since I was a toddler, it has been a very continuous place for my family and I. I am now 23 years old and can say that I am still in love. Cafe Amaretto has some of the best food I have ever tasted and I can honestly not fault them. The service is always beautiful and I always leave super satisfied. A lot of people have mixed feelings which is normal, but as someone who has been frequenting this place for around 20 years I am and always will be sold can’t wait to spend another birthday here.
