We decided to ubereats our order delivery was quick however food was below average. We ordered meat samosas which were the worst we have ever had it was basically mince meat in pastry no spice no veg dry mince, we also ordered a chicken korma and beef madras the korma didnt arrive and was a butter chicken with more sauce than meat and the beef madras was extremely sour and tasted mostly of vinegar. We requested chilli garlic nan and garlic nan arrived the naan bread was very doughy and hardly any garlic disappointing as this place is only round the corner but wasnt worth the money.
Delivery order was incorrect but when I called the restaurant they didn’t answer and when I called the driver and left a message he didn’t respond. Very disappointed! Curry was so so, would not recommend tikka masala, not very nice. Palak paneer was ok
Great food for the money…. Haven’t been to many Indian restaurants in Perth but Malabar is the best of those so far visited. Highly recommended
Mixed feelings about this place, Visited this place twice. Food was just ok both times, definitely not the best Indian in Perth.On One Occassion the staff were all sitting down at table eating dominos pizza (this didn’t leave a good impression) and The restaurant is cold and toilets and corridor to toilet was covered in big caterpillar things.Won’t be going back
This is probably as good as Indian food gets in Perth. Their food is just so much more tastier and much more value for money ! The onion bhaji is really awesome (I’ve been scarred by this dish many times before), palak paneer is perfect medium hot with so much cheese. Briyani is fantastic, 50% meat and the naans are huge portions. Definitely my go to place for Indian food.
First class Indian. Plenty of meat in the curries and decent naans. The lamb Rahra Gosht tasted amazing. Has now become our local curry house choice.
probably the best butter chicken ive had in perth. generous servings. i Loved the garlic naan too!!we will back for these two things for sure! Havent dined inside yet as we ordered takeaway but will come in one day:) Thanks Malabar!
