This restaurant has become more than a just a place to relax and enjoy food, it’s become an escape into a world of gastronomic delights and great staff who enjoy making you feel welcome every time I eat here. The good selection of meals with a strong Italian understanding, mixed with passion for cooking and comfort foods and beverages. All round this is one of the few iconic restaurants in Perth, well worth my patronage and anyone else who enjoys a lifestyle of relaxing when dining.

Re the habooken review, I also have ordered the marsala scallopini & instead received a dish of lumpy pre-cooked meat, on a bed of gunky rice and covered with a blanket of mushrooms and gravy. No marsala sauce. Horrible. Their pasta dishes are great, this absolutely awful. And the behaviour of the cook when approached was reprehensible. Don’t bother. They don’t care what their customers think.

We have been here twice with the extended family. The first time it was fine, expensive but not bad itallian. The second time was perhaps the worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant!Grandmother ordered the veal…what came out was hard, dry and served inexplicably with rice?? A lady near our table also ordered the veal with the same experience and complained. The chef/owner came storming out of the kitchen aggressively arguing with both grandma and the other lady claiming he had never had a complaint about the veal in 29 years and was a better chef than Gordon Ramsay. He finished his rant by insulting the other lady claiming in all his years he had never seen someone eat pasta using a knife….In short, poor cooking, poor ingredients and a chef/owner who needs to work on his demeanor and customer service. Pathetic, avoid at all costs.

We attended this restaurant for a small family occasion! The food was very good as was the service! Very quick in fact! Our evening was spoilt by the person in charge declining to let my husband have his no/low alcohol beer! (We would have been happy to purchase low or no alcohol beer at the restaurant but they did not have any). I guess if you have a medical condition that limits your alcohol intake the restaurant could be more understanding! Anyway, after pleading with the person in charge he was allowed to have it provided we paid corkage (which we did)!

Checked out this place on the weekend. Bit of a mixed review but overall pretty good. I tried the capretto which was nice and tender, but didnt have a lot of flavour. The pasta was great, I tried the ravioli. The crossini and foccacia bread are awesome.

Nothing espetacular and a bit overpriced. We came in a Saturday night and the service was quick. We were 2 people and booking a table was not required. We have ordered the lasagne and it was good, but for the price of the dish I was expecting to have it with at least some salad. We also ordered the capretto. It was okay but a bit overpriced. The tap water taste was really awful. Ended up paying $7 for a 1.5l of bottled water to drink only a small glass.
