Good nasi lemak. The Sambal is super spicy and curry is flavorful. The satay was average but the peanut sauce was good. I didnt like the chilli wanton, it had good presentation but tasted plain.
Small, clean and simple place. Food is fresh cheap and delicious! will be back! Would recommend the Kuey teow and the ribs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The crispy pork hock is sooo yummy! Make sure you come in a big group and hack into that huge curry chicken bun and platter of crispy pork hock. It’s a hidden gem in Vic park.
Oh man. Glad I tried this place. Moonlight kueh teow with raw egg is a first but so nice.. And the Yong tau foo as well! Will be back for sure
This is the only place you can have a nasi lemak burger. We quite like how they use the sambal as the sauce and the fried chicken was perfect. The only suggestion is perhaps less heavy on the sauce and make the bun from the real nasi lemak, which would’ve been really good! The Penang char koay teow was good but not dry enough and the pork noodle was nicely done. Overall it was good but I would love to try the curry chicken bread next time as we’ve been here a few times with no luck.
Have ordered the curry bread a few times now via UberEATS (which is pretty awesome in itself), have eaten the chicken and the mutton. The mutton is our pick of the two, but we do tend to favour mutton over chicken in any case, both curries had nice homely flavours, good level of spice and were well seasoned. A great thing to share with people, tearing at the bread, mopping and scooping your way through the curry. Bonus points for it looking (to the uninitiated) pretty whack. Good stuff
So happy they have a shop now. Very friendly and helpful customer service. The chicken curry bread is delicious and great to share. Also the pandan and coconut roll is a nice dessert and snack, not too sweet. Can’t wait to try the nasi lemak burger. Thanks
