We have eaten oysters all over the world and in our many years of experience have learned to identify when something isn’t right! On the very rare occasion this has happened to us in the past we have had very experienced well trained managers on hand who have replace or refunded our order post haste and apologised for the inconvenience! Given our experience in the customer service industry we hate to have to give such a poor review but we find it our duty since management seemed so unhelpful to inform people their health is at risk eating at this establishment! The extra point scored was for the lovely waitress who attempted to be helpful at all times!

Quick pop in for a coffee here yesterday. We only bought drinks as it was 10.30 and were given the breaky menu but already had eaten breaky. When we approach the counter to pay I noticed all the delicious looking cakes & was sad that our waitress hadn’t mentioned them. The service was very prompt & the coffee great.

Can’t Fault It! – Such a special place.. We’ve been coming to Cafe Coast for nearly 2 years, we come here because it is consistently impressive, great food, gracious staff in combination with a setting that makes everything awesome.Being so secluded this place is a hidden gem, consistently and proudly achieving it’s amazing reputation.PLEASE visit Cafe Coast, you Won’t be Dissapointed!

Great choice with consistent quality. What a gem this little god-send is. I am always surprised by how good the. Food is and reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

Favourite restaurant in Mandurah. Beautiful views are only part of this great restaurant. I dine out a lot and find Cafe Coast to be consistently good. The staff are often very busy but are always friendly and the service as quick as can be expected. My friends and I love going there for lunch on a sunny day – dolphins are an occasional delightful extra.

So much potential…. I don’t like writing a negative review based on a single experience, but after dining at Cafe Coast for the fourth time I believe it is time for some feedback. The location is beautiful, perfectly situated on the waterfront. The atmosphere is casual and understated elegance. And the staff is forthcoming, polite and attentive, creating a perfect setting for a nice dining experience. In contrast, the food is a let down. Whether it was the vegetarian breakfast wrap (a lot of cheese and little else), the muesli (served in a soup bowl, muesli and yogurt lying side by side) or eggs on toast (that I had with a side of under-seasoned spinach and mushrooms drowned in butter), I was disappointed every time. To be fair, my husband’s Eggs Benedict were beautifully cooked and the coffee is always delicious. When we went out for lunch a couple of days ago, we had the antipasti platter for two and I were both completely underwhelmed by what we were given. The pork belly was swimming in honey and the fat had not been sufficiently rendered, making for a sickening combination. The squid was nice, but nothing special. The marinated Mediterranean vegetables were no stand-out either. The bread had been toasted off in a sandwich maker and was soft and chewy at the same time (my two year-old had one bite and decided he would have no more). I am no big fan of Arancini balls in general, so there really wasn’t much on the plate that either of us enjoyed. However, the most confusing thing on the plate were the two bowls of dips (cocktail and tartar sauce). Why anyone need two bowls of different types of mayonnaise for six pieces of squid is beyond me. All in all, I can recommend Cafe Coast for coffee, a nice cold beer or a glass of wine, but the food has been uninspiring and boring and we won’t be dining here again.
