Overpriced! Staff need to smile I think if you get a job here the pre-requisite is make sure you never smile and are just plain rude.Food was below average the chips came.out well overcooked. The tea comes in these tiny pots that are Japanese tea pots i got a dribble of tea from it and it was average watery flavorless tea.Look the positive was the cakes these looked enticing, I did try one and tasy but so stale! In fact it had a bit of mould on the very edge. They need to go to Orion Cafe at Whitfords and see what a perfect cafe looks like!

Always busy when I come to this centre. The home made muffins and cakes – GF options available are a big thumbs up from me but the coffee..sigh..is o.k. Passable. Not double tapped but crappy beans/brand. If needing a quick fix I forgive you but dont go out of your way here for the coffee.

This is a wonderful suburban cafe. The proprietor has a background in high end dining (Julio’s in West Perth). Kitchen staff are consistent and quality is assured on the tight menu. Coffee is always good. Service staff are welcoming and efficient. This is a top cafe in the northern suburbs.

I went to Marmalade cafe for late breakfast with my partner on a weekday. If you want a quick cafe eat for a reasonable price and good food this is the place to go. We arrived at about 11.50 and the breakfast menu finishes at 11.30, but the staff and chef were more than happy to accommodate our breakfast orders. We both ordered drinks aswell which came out extremely fast (within 2 minutes of us sitting down) Note- this place was 3/4 full aswell. The service was fast and efficient. All the waiters were really lovely and accommodating. The food was more than delicious. It tasted fresh and healthy, unlike other places I have been too and the menu had good prices. Would highly recommend going here.

A few things changed and it would be amazing!. This is my local cafe.To their credit they are one of a few places open all weekend but a few things they could improve would make it so much better. Its located inside the shopping centre and would be very attactive if they were located on the perimeter of the building offering alfresco. Its unattractive inside plus the lovely surrounds of the park across the road or even the trees at the back, plus a more modern decor would give it wow factor. The food is really good although not cheap its worth it. The service can be hit and miss. I would go more frequently if these things were offered.

Expensive for disappointing food. My husband and I decided to go to Marmalade as it is down the road from my parents house as we were staying for the weekend. It was a Friday and not very busy. We ordered at ham, cheese and tomato croissant each, a milkshake and soy iced coffee. The first thing we noticed as the small sized drinks, don’t get me wrong as they were drinkable but they were both served in jam jars which are about a one cup capacity. If I’m paying $7 and $7.50 respective I expect a very good drink or a little more.Secondly, the croissants, where do I start. We had to send them back as they did not have tomato. When we eventually got our croissants back (which we know were the same ones as my husband had a bite from his) they were flat and soggy as if they had been zapped in a microwave. $18 for two was very disappointing. I only took a few bites of my and had to leave it. the ham was nice, the two slices of tomato were soggy and the cheese was extra rubbery. We’ll definitely be looking elsewhere to get breakfast. Another note is they are cash only!

Won’t be back…. Went to Marmalade Cafe for lunch with the family, and ordered the beef burger.Came out under cooked so sent it back to the kitchen for a fresh one, new plate came out and meat was again well undercooked if not worse than the original meal.Asked for a refund, which they obliged, and was proceeded to be told they microwave the meat!!!!!Definitely won’t be back, such a shame as it could be a fantastic cafe, if they lifted their game with the food.
