It is a shame that with such a talented French baker the staff at this cafe don’t seem to care less that you have been standing there for 15mins waiting to be served. Then when you are finally served it is without a smile and an attitude that has you feeling like you should never have entered the building.
Georges is a local institution and a great meeting place. The service is personal and friendly. Whether you’ve just been to the beach, walked your dog, done a bike ride, been for a run or just want a coffee, Georges is the place to go.I have read FoodNazi and I just wonder what makes people so bitter and twisted? Need to take a chill and happy up.

Pity this cafe didn’t burn down too, maybe we’d get a business who knew what they were doing!Awful boring food (menu hasn’t changed in 5 years) service slow & lifeless!Please close down, would love a modern cafe with a clue!
Short staffed, bad service. Service is ALWAYS terrible. I only go here when I’m desperate as I live around the corner. Expect to wait fifteen minutes for a takeaway ANYTHING. The owner is always rude and always looking at the younger girls.
The food here is good but having been a number of times the service gets slower every time. Please add some more staff particularly at weekends.
