Only got a coffee from here which was okay. Menu was overpriced but I guess you pay for the location and fresh sea breeze. There is seating inside and outside on picnic style benches.
Great location and the coffee is consistently good. Food is below average and some times the service is compromised by grumpy staff, only a few but they ruin the experience. The place has a great casual feel and the beach side location is the best in Perth. Some of the staff just need to grin and bear it like the rest of us, you are in the service business so at least put a smile on your face!
We used to love this place, but will never go there again after today! We went there and sat down and my husband went up to get menus. Next thing the waitress comes up to the table very aggressively, snatched them from his hands and tells us they weren’t out because the kitchen was closed. She was ruder than rude and her attitude was completely unnecessary.
Make sure you check what the current menu is beforehand – they don’t update it online. Vegetarian options are limited and they are not good at ‘adjusting’We came for a nice birthday meal and I left disappointed due to lack of food choices 🙁
Great location and really yummy food, but the staff made me give 3.5 stars. Not friendly at all, the lady serving didn’t even smile or say hello! Looked really disinterested to be there which is disappointing as otherwise this is a great place to go.
Lovely ocean views, friendly staff but average foodThe cafe has a beachy laid back feel to it. You place your order at counter and food is delivered to the table. The pork belly was on the fatty side as it hadn’t been rendered enough. I couldn’t eat all the pieces as it became too greasy towards the end. The fish cake dish was ok but not memorable.
I’m not fussy and I hate wasting food, but struggled to get down the undercooked/not cooked chips, and the battered fish had a nice batter, but the fish was the consistency of poorly mashed potato. One log black is $4.50 plus the public holiday surcharge. Don’t order the fish and chips! $22.50 for soggy mashed white goop.
