Hmmm… where do I start?Ordered the breakfast special of the day. Was told the chef hadn’t prepped in time so it wasn’t available.Kids ordered juices. Was told that they were out of juices today because the order hadn’t come in. No juices. At all. Bare fridge except for an obscure spirulina product that no 9yo in their right mind would be game to try first thing of a morning.Ordered a skinny capp. Nice taste. Well made.Ordered toasted muesli. Odd ratio of yoghurt to muesli (ie nowhere near enough yoghurt) and milk was offered but failed to appear. Muesli was well-toasted almost burned – just short of a bitter taste.Kids ordered potato hash with soft poached eggs & hollandaise. Eggs came out hard. Hollandaise was watery and tasteless.Nice cafe with a lot of potential. Friendly service albeit a bit vague and on the slow side.Sadly missed the mark by a long shot today for us.
Their coffee is just so good! This is a quiet cozy place in Wembley. Went there without much expectation but was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely go back to try other things in their menu..
Came here mid week for lunch. We ordered the chicken salad which was tasty but fairly ordinary as well as the lamb bruschetta, which unfortunately was really quite bland and tasteless (& a little soggy). Coffee was ok, honey cake is always a nice treat, but the biggest plus we found were the super friendly staff. Pleasant neighborhood cafe.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a new barista!!!!!A local cafe that I used to walk too daily. Unfortunately the barista’s left and now the coffee is awful. Always hot and burnt. Please get a new barista so I can come back!
Very disappointing. Extremely long wait times for food. Food was average with burnt food mixed in with cream and foreign object in the mushroom compote, didn’t want to investigate too much! Coffee was quite bitter and no timing with coffee and food being far apart. No offer to fill water glass or order another coffee. Would not go back.
Absolutely lovely service. Large servings. Well priced. Fuss free ordering -even though I’m super fussy. Can pay separately. Lovely cafe. Parking is a bit of a pain- especially with road works but def worth a visit!
The lamb bruschetta is amazing, the honey cake the best and the service extremely friendly & helpful. Ambience is cozy and limited parking is the only down-side.
