We have only tried the salt & Pepper squid . But it was really tender and well cooked and worth a review ! We ordered 2 serves split between a family but the only downer was only one dipping sauce which was put down the other end of the table ! I am keen to try other dishes from this cafe
Tried the steamed prawn dumplings and steamed custard buns. Really yummy, the custard buns are the best I’ve ever had and I will return to try more. They only accept cash by the way.
Just went in by chance and amazed with the BYO offer (wine and beer only) for this foodcourt. There’s plenty selection of Chinese/Asian food, as well as some others, that’s why they called it international. However, the Wembley dim sum was quite nice and all of the them are served hot (except those cold dessert, etc). alfredcslau.wordpress.com
Typical Aussie oversized dimsum. Generally tasty with relatively quick service. Pretty good option for a casual lunch, however food quality can be quite inconsistent at times.
Craving for fussfree and delicious dumplings satisfied. I’d recommend it. Great value for money. Don’t look for ambience- it’s in a food court, people!
Tried this dim sum store for lunch today. I like it that it has a good variety of dim sum. As one of the reviewers mentioned, you order the food using a slip of paper which is found on the side of the counter. I ordered 4 items which cost about $18. A reasonable price I feel. No need to stand around and wait for the food as it will be delivered to you. Now, this is a food court dim sum place so I wasn’t expecting the same standards as those in the restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised then that they tasted great. Only gripe was that the chive and prawn dumpling skin was a little dry otherwise everything was good. If only I live nearby, then I can have dim sum whenever I want it. You cannot compare the quality of their dim sum with those served in the restaurants but for the price you pay, this is unbeatable.
