  Some places win questionable awards and you wonder if their Aunty was the only judge at the local fair. This place, however, has won many reputable awards for their baked goods (check out the Carrot Cake – OMG) and you can see, well, taste why. Breakfast was an open croissant with poached eggs, bacon, bearnaise sauce, sliced avocado. Plenty of food and and great quality. Coffee (long black) was spot on; beautifully made, served with a rich crema still floating on the surface, caramel and nutty notes. Super quaint inside this little converted house. Highly recommend.

• Love Eating Out

  We went for lunch after a recommendation from a friend.  Hubbie had the burger and he loved it.  I had the fruit toast which was great and the coffee was good too.  We took home carrot cake and the salted caramel slice and both were very delicious.  The décor was great and the service exceptional.

  an award winning bakery and cute cafe near the heart of busselton with lovely decor and food. had the big breakfast twice now and its been great portions. the coffee was a little small in size, but well presented.

• Just Another Foodie

  We went to Rise and Co for breakfast with friends recently. We’ve been for coffee and cake several times before and bought their bread and had great experiences.  Breakfast didn’t turn out quite so well.  We ordered cooked breakfasts which unfortunately came out cold.  The reason was that the waiter was not able to locate our table because it hadn’t been added to our order when we made it.  Which probably would have been plausible except that they had managed to get our coffees and other drinks which were on the same order.  Anyway, the serves were really generous and the flavours were good despite the food being cold. I had the Busso Beans which were a little more on the side of sweet than smoky for my personal preference but they were beautifully cooked and came in a separate bowl with a poached egg on top.  On the side was two slices of their sourdough bread. I also got a side of bacon which was really generous. I’m sure it would have been much better had it been hot.  Overall we had an okay experience.  Next time we’ll make sure they write down our table number.
