Colin street kitchen and lamb burger. My mum and I were looking for something to eat after a long day on planes, trains and automobiles. Geoff noticed us looking around and, even though it was getting late, he invited us in and told us about his burgers. Mum and I both had a lamb burger and I chose the chilli and yoghurt dressing. BEST BURGER EVER!!! Food was great, ice cream great, company great, service great. Well done!

Love this place!. This is the second time I’ve visited the Colin Street Kitchen and once again been extremely impressed with the food, friendly service and comfy feel of it. The coffee is absolutely outstanding. I drink it black which gives a really honest flavour so saying that it’s good means that IT IS GOOD! If I lived in the area, I’d be eating here daily. If you haven’t tried it, you must. The menu is small but solid and everything I’ve tried has been excellent. I will defeintely be back again and again!

Toastie HEAVEN!. This amazing cafe blew me away today. The staff were interactive and positive, expressing their motto was ‘Food with Soul’. And they were spot on. Im going back – this is from a person whose favourite food is at the Must Wine Bar. Do yourself a favour and drop in for breakie and lunch.

Great suprise. We are from the country, had to visit a specialist in West Perth, tired and stressed we needed refreshment. We spotted a notice offering Passionfruit Cup cakes and coffee for $7.00, sounded good so we went in, Best deal we have had in years. The cake was delicious. coffee great , we were tempted by the array of baguettes in the display, chose one to share as couldn’t manage one each.We chose roast beef, (untoasted) Best and freshest we have tasted in years, truly delicious, not soggy, not stale ,really fresh and tasty. Also ,Jeff behind the counter was friendly and helpful. We would honestly recommend country people visiting specialists in this area and needing a genuine tasty snack or lunch to call in.

Fantastic! You know exactly what you are getting for what you pay. Everything is locally sourced, free range and home made. The home baked sweets are amazing – cakes, cupcakes, slices so yummy. Everything is made from scratch not bought in, they also have delicious award winning Tasmanian ice cream and gourmet goodies to take home. Sourdough toasties are delicious, $10 with a coffee is great value.Toby’s estate coffee has been a great addition.

Very Overpriced!!. I bought a sandwich and a juice for $16.50 the lady behind the counter said that for me to use the eftpos facility, I would have to pay an extra .50 cents. I wouldn’t recommend this!!

Gone downhill. This place used to be great value when it was called ‘Plimms’ or something like that but those owners sold, and the new Colin St Kitchen is very overpriced. A medium sized baguette cost $10, and it wasn’t particularly full of fillings or gourmet. You can go next door and get a tastier one for $7.50. Colin St Kitchen now has a very limited choice, no creative fillings and is too expensive! The owners seem lovely but I don’t know how they’ll survive if they keep going as they are currently…
