I feel so disappointed. This place had everything going for it… opened early, close to work, good menu…. then it went down hill…The initially friendly server assured me that it was okay to order sides. I always leave the poached eggs part of my order until last so they don’t get confused with the eggs on toast. I ordered my sides…. then they came on toast! I have coeliacs so did not eat the eggs or toast. I didn’t say anything because breakfast before work is a rush job anyway. The bill for the two dishes was over $60- which is in excess of our usual bill. I mentioned that I did not order toast. He said because I ordered eggs I have to buy toast. They don’t do substitutes only for gluten free bread ( which is a joke as it’s toasted in a toaster with normal bread that contains gluten). He was a smart ass and we were in a rush so just paid.People need to a) recognise coeliacs is an allergy b) recognise that poached eggs on toast is not a side dish c) not give you what you don’t ask for. It makes me so angry! How hard is it to substitute a side for toast or not give freaking toast. Grr. Not going back!

Went here twice this week. Very friendly and prompt service. The menu has a nice range of options and we enjoyed our meal. Will be coming back

Business meeting with coffee only. Really good hot coffee, with friendly professional staff. Staff welcomed us as we came in and directed us to either inside or alfresco seating and promptly served us. Didn’tinterfere with the conversation but attentive and responsive for additional service requirements.

Greeted by friendly staff, our table of 10 was offered the drinks and menu promptly. Our drinks arrived much the same and not long after, our meals, fresh and delicious. The menu is extensive and servings are generous. This time round I ordered thefish& chips (which they were happy to grill) Accompanied by a generous serve of salad & chips.I’ve dined here a few times and it never disappoints. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Crema and will be back.

It’s been a while since I’ve visited this cafe – it used to lack warmth. Now it has a lovely, lively atmosphere. Service is quick, there’s attention to detail in the cooking such as sauces made in-house. The open sandwiches are a great option but are pretty pricey. Plenty of other dishes to choose from, including tapas/snack items if you’re after something light.

Best service in a coffee shop i have had in Perth, hands down. Assisted to to open the door that i was coming through with a pram, delivered me a paper and water! Warm and cosy on a cold day. My only critique was that they charged for almond milk and honey. Almond milk i am used to… but charging for honey seemed a bit rough!

Have been here a couple of times and it’s always quite busy. Today I had the chicken Caesar salad which tasted great but it was very gritty, like it had sand in it? I don’t think it was sandy lettuce though… it was a bazaar texture and made a tasty dish a little hard to eat. The hostess also didn’t smile and seemed a bit short with me but the wait staff were really friendly.
