Had the honour of being invited to a friends wedding here. Very nice views and service was good! They topped up your drinks very often and made sure everything was ok. It was a 5 course dinner. The pork belly dish was so tender and melt in the mouth. My favourite would have to be the fairy floss and ice cream dessert! So aesthetically pleasing and yummy!
Let me first of all say this is the first review I have taken the time to write. I am so disgusted with the whole experience from the booking procedure to paying the bill. We were a party of 14 including interstate guests. There is not one positive thing I could say about our experience (apart from the view). The booking procedure set the scene for what was a totally unacceptable dining experience. We had prebooked a set menu and on arrival the menu and more importantly the food had not been prepared! Our food was late coming out and when it did it was sub standard. For example, the Risotto was more like under cooked rice salad and the Tapioca was watery mush. I could go on but Im sure you get the gist of this review.
We had our work Christmas party catered externally by frasers restaurant. The food was amazing!! I was pleasantly surprised, everything had to be brought in and they did a wonderful!! The chef was great to deal with as well
Terrible service with gloomy staff.The food was nothing special. The menu had a very poor selection and nothing much for children to choose from. Lovely setting with a disappointing restaurant.
Poor quality food served with lackluster attitude. Soft shell crab enter varied from burnt to just fried on same plate. Tortellini was a nightmare- overly sweet and clearly a reheated dish with dried edges and dried out garnishes. Dessert was okay- I guess at the sky high price you need to get something right. Keep on driving or stop and admire the view but this is not the place to do both if you want a fine dining experience.
If your looking for a place to have cold steak and below average food at a premium price this is the place for you . Staff were average and was like pulling teeth to get a drink …..avoid at all cost sorry …. disappointing
