The food is a tad pricey for a breakfast/lunch spot although it is usually good. The fresh fruit and salad on the side is a big plus. Service is ok.
Hands down best coffee and lunch options in West Perth. Always friendly service and the food is made with so much love! All hearty, healthy and delicious food options – highly recommend! There is a reason it’s always bustling 🙂
Favourite place to come for food, snacks, coffee the lot! Very friendly and personal staff who are always a pleasure to talk to. Guaranteed to walk away satisfied & with a smile!
This place is outrageously overpriced (even for West Perth). I still get the odd coffee and slice from here because yes, they are good quality, but so are a lot of other places in the area. The wait time for a takeaway coffee is also ridiculous. But my biggest gripe is with the insufferable woman who appears to run the joint. No other word to describe her really, she is just really strange. She has terrible customer service and doesn’t know how to talk to people; I suggest she takes a course because I know I’m not the only person deterred from the place because of her. I recommend Fix Espresso across the road – their customer service is impeccable, coffee is great and I’m not waiting 20 minutes for it (even though it can easily rival High Bench in volume of customers most mornings).
Very exceptional food and environment. I had lunch here several times and I really enjoyed eating delicious food like Stuffed pepper, Balli chicken and different soups. You must try these.Good healthy food choices are available there as well and all staff are super friendly.
Fantastic food , well presented and delicious. The best coffee I have ever had. There is a lots of choice on their menu, and the serving sizes are quite large.Highly recommend to everyone
Was kicked outside to the cold because I wasn’t eating!Just dropped by for a coffee. Freezing cold day. I specifically asked the guy serving at the till when I ordered in a takeaway cup if it was ok to sit down for a while, but explained that I might need to leave in a bit (hence the take away cup). Was sitting at a table for 2, reading the paper, minding my own business. Suddenly a woman interrupted me without introducing herself and asked if I was waiting for anyone. I thought she was another customer and perhaps would like to use my spare chair. No, turns out she worked there (so I was left to figure out), and, immediately upon my saying that I wasn’t waiting for anyone, told me that ‘she’d have to ask me to move then’, as ‘she had customers wanting to eat’. I was a bit stunned, but managed to asked her where she actually would like me to move to? She looked around and then told me outside. In the freezing cold. ‘Because there were others that wanted to eat.’ Then in a sing song, completely unapologetic voice, ‘sor-ree…’I wasn’t about to be treated like a second class citizen. If a cafe isn’t prepared to invest in the capital required to provide a heated and properly sheltered outdoor area where customers will enjoy eating, then it should limit the number of customers that it is prepared to serve and profit from. Likewise, if it is not prepared to operate as a cafe where people can sit down over a cup of coffee for less than half an hour (or will not tolerate that over the peak lunch period) that should be made clear so that paying customers can take their business elsewhere. As I was leaving I told the woman that I didn’t think I would be returning. She said ‘oh sor-rrreeee’ again in a completely unapologetic manner and tone. Truly despicable customer service.
