Just had ribs and a salad and it wasn’t bad for $10 each.. Nice a quiet for lunch with little traffic going past. We sat outside and the seagulls kept us amused with their antics
Never again worst food ever. Didn’t even finish our entre. Waited 40 minutes and the calamari was horrible like rubber. The cucumber in the salad not fit for a snail.
Went to see a Fringe Fest gig with good first impressions. Alas, the gig was over before our food arrived. We inquired during intermission but were told it was still on its way. In all? A 2hr wait for very mediocre pizzas. They said they had run out of large pizza bases so were giving 2 smalls for those who ordered large. I guess that means they don’t make their own? Drinks were expensive too at $14.50 for a glass of house white and a middy of Creatures beer.
Found on thehappiesthour.com advertising $15 steaks on Monday nights 5-9pm. We drove from Como to Fremantle for the steak and then when we arrived at 7:30 we were told that they’re out of steak. I ended up having the parmigiana and my partner had the $15 deal with chicken taking the place of the steak. The meals were both generously sized, tasty and came out fairly quickly. There was a musician performing this (Monday) night and he was very good, we ended up staying a fair while after our meal to watch. I then ordered a long island iced tea after being given the cocktail recipe sheet instead of a drinks menu, which was far too strong, we ended up giving it back to the bar staff to fix which they happily did by adding more coke and ice. Overall the staff were attentive and friendly but perhaps might need some cocktail training (just a friendly suggestion). Despite being disappointed about the lack of steak we had a nice evening due to the lovely musician, nice staff and good food.
Probably ok if your just a single order. But we had 5 people under 3 separate orders ordered all at the same time yet they all come out at different times with a large gap between all meals. We even had to remind them of what we ordered. The food did tastes great though. I would have rathered ok meals all at once that what we had. Improve the meal times and would get a much higher score
Terrible terrible awful food.. Beers are good though. Sent my dinner back along with the table beside me. Hate to see the kitchen..?Dinner served half cold. Clearly a microwave attempt re-heat. Meat not fit for human consumption. Should have been served with health warning
Micro chicken. Visited the Orient on Saturday 14th Feb found pleasant surprise with all Beers on Happy Hour at $7.50 . Ordered Two Chicken Gorgonzola meals these had the smallest Chicken breast portions I’ve ever seen , they were breasts cut into half and then sliced in Two or maybe theh were very flat chested Chooks !!
