Had lunch at Bennys today, we ordered Turkish bread with trio dips, seafood platter, gnocchi, and smoked salmon salad. Food tasted just ok, nothing outstanding, but portion size is huge! When the seafood platter arrived I thought I had ordered for 2 person instead of one because it was so big! If you have small appetite just take in mind that all the dishes are quite large and one dish can feed 2 small eaters.
This is the shining light in Freo compared to the rest of the (old) places I have wandered through. Nice food, good prices, great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and efficient. Gets a crowd.
