Under New Management. Carriage cafe use to be one of my favorite places until the new owners came in. The food has gone from delicous burgers and salads to very over priced toasted sandwiches and awful lasagna. Arent their enough Italian cafe’s around Freo? The owner does nothing but walk around talking about how nice the place is now and how horrible the previous owners were. He doesnt help staff and looks clueless. What a shame.

Best coffee hands down. I’m not sure how he makes it, but it’s the best coffee I’ve tasted. They only use Grinders in which I’ve had many times before, but it doesn’t taste like this.It is a little pricey @ $4.80, but hey this is Perth, apparently we’re all wealthy miners…..notNot to worry, I’ll start saving for next months cuppa.

Ordered coffees and a snack for the kids. Wouldn’t be able to tell you whether they were any good. Youngest took a sip of her babycino, spat it out, and was hysterical because it was way too hot for a child and seemed to have burnt her mouth. Not much sympathy from staff. Left and threw coffees in bin.
