I was hesitant about the quality and options available on a Tuesday night (compared to the weekend). But I was pleasantly surprised and need not have worried.Everything was available, everything was fresh and the staff were great (particularly the waitress who was so cheery you couldn’t help but smile when she came over).A couple of the meats were a bit tough if you got a bad section but that’s to be expected really. But some of them – like the finger ribs, brazilian style sausage & mustard steak were great! The sides were plentiful and don’t forget the cheese lasagne!Definitely recommend the place – particularly when they have the $45 special – it’s good value.Would be great for groups as there’s a lot of room.
Food was ok but on a Saturday we hardly got served got so sick of waiting (we had been there for an hour +) that we left! Still hungry! We hardly got to eat. Very frustrated sitting there waiting for food that doesn’t come. The menu offers a array different things but we definitely didnt get what was advertised. And what we did get was ONE tiny little slice of meat at a time then 20mins later another little ration. This was my 2nd time there and my LAST
It’s always a full house, so make sure to RSVP days in advance. We were lucky as they was a last minute cancelation. Fried banana fritters is spot on and the rest of the meal is great. Would recommend the rocket salad, pasta and of course the meat! Chicken and beef is a must
Been here twice and in my opinion the all you can eat is worth while if at the restaurant instead of the menu. The meats were moist and tender. The ambiences is wonderful but lighting should be adjusted.
Service was spot on, very friendly. Restaurant was a bit too dark, there is ambience and there is struggling to read the menu and see what you are eating . We dined with a party of 5, cheese balls were tasty , pork ribs were tender, tasty and falling off the bone. Beef ribs were over seasoned and a bit salty. The most disappointing dish was the choice of two meats, garlic steak was not eatable, so over the top smothered in garlic from a jar. YUK..And the lamb was average. Presentation of all meals were poor, just dumped on the plate with no garnish or love shown . Again the price doesn’t reflect the food that was served . Would not bother in returning . Been to the Subiaco restaurant and had a better experience there.
Ordered the all the eat for $50 each. You get a huge range of different meats (and sides) that get served to your table. They were all cooked to perfection – The beef is epic. Service was really good and they have some nice wines to choose from. Overall it’s definitely worth the money, just don’t eat before hand because it’s ALOT of food. There is an A la carte menu, however Lapa is famous for the all you can eat.
The service here is pretty amazing. The male manager goes above and beyond to ensure satisfaction and obviously takes his role very seriously – great to see.Wait staff and chefs all very friendly and polite and accommodating.Rump cap is amazing!
