Won’t be going back, had the steak sandwich for lunch, $26 and the slice of rump was thinner than the bacon that accompanied it…. My girlfriend had the burger which was also $26 and was average at best, would have been disappointed paying $9 for each much less $26 each. Also pints were $12. On a positive note the service was great, but definitely won’t be going back. How they won best steak sandwich of 2016 is beyond me…

I usually have a rule about never eating at restaurants attached to hotels – and unfortunately this is the reason why…While there was nothing terrible about the meal, it wreaks of complacency..Over priced for the quality of food with an incredibly vanilla wine list and in a room not even half full, I still had to flag down a waitress for a second drink and had a longer than usual wait for my meal..With so much competition in Freo, I’ll be trying many others before considering coming back again..
Waste of time. Staff are very unattentive, waited an hour at a table before going to the bar to order food only to be told that it was table service. Waited another half an hour after advised we would be served (was not a busy day).. We decided to leave. Ridiculous. Won’t be back.
Average food they make you wait for! 50 minute wait for pached eggs and bacon…. Staff seemed rather disinterested too.
Average Whilst extensive m…. Average Whilst extensive menu with various options the food is overpriced for what is offered. The meat on the skewers was over cooked even though we asked for medium rare and as for the duck in my salad it was so dry and tasteless. It was meant to be served with kipfler potatoes and came with croutons instead – different type of kipfler though!! Our waiter was attentive and pleasant though. However actual food service slow. Venue great but a lot of improvement required with the food prep.
I have eaten here a couple of times for work and always been happy with the food and the service. Lovely staff, would happily visit again.
