Iced Latte was odd. No ice. Lots of cream. Kind of weak coffee. Not sure if it was the milk or cream, but there was an odd artificial taste to the drink. Fish and chips were nice, though not enough chips.
Orgered the Wild Caught Fish and Chips you wont be disappointed if you order this, great size and great flavours! The hand cut chips are fantastic.
We have been here a few times for the $15 Steak Night. The steak has always been cooked perfectly(medium rare is how I like it), has been tender and juicy, comes with a serve of hand cut fries and their hombre salad. At $15, how can you possibly go wrong!
Been here quite a few times now for a feed. They might just do the best BBQ ribs in Perth, the tenderness is stupidly good and the flavour is perfect. Nachos are another great meal and they hit the spot well. Never had a bad meal here. Food is good, drinks are good and the staff are fast and friendly.
Came in for a quick beer and meal. Friend had the steak sandwich and I just had a small bowl of veggies. Food was lush, every smell from the kitchen had us drooling. Beer wasn’t cheap however and was $12 for a 330ml mango beer. Next time I’ll look more closely atmosphere was great and really nice decor! Will deffo come back for a pizza!
Easily the best steak in Freo. Cannot fault the Newport Galley food – this has become our new go to in Freo (and we are locals)!Please keep up the great work!
My partner and I dined here last Saturday night. I had the Ploughman’s Steak sandwich and Paul had the 500gm steak. They were not just good – they were perfect. I can honestly say it was the best steak sandwich I have ever eaten – or eaten most of – it was so big. My partner’s steak was also amazing, perfectly cooked and the chips wer divine. We personally thanked the chef – it isn’t often that pub food inspires me to do that. I would recommend these two dishes to anyone carnivorous as they were not only delicious but reasonably priced. <3
