Couple of us got electric shock from using the escalator in the shopping centre on our way to this restaurant. Told the staff and owner to advise security about the incident but they said no as its not their problem. Not even willing to give me the contact number and told me to walk around the shopping centre to find the security guard. I then went next door to advise hoyts staff and they immediately called the security. Never returning to this restaurant.
Great food, good atmosphere. Laid out well so those who don’t want to listen to kids playing aren’t disturbed. Always a pleasure to go there.

We decided on the spur of the moment to head to the Apache Spur for lunch today, and what an enjoyable experience it was. We were greeted most warmly and seated promptly. Having perused the menu, which will satisfy the taste buds of all ages, we settled for a 600gm rack of marinated pork ribs, a Cheddamelt Burger, with an extra pattie, and monkey gland sauce, both dishes with chips and fried onion rings. Our drinks order was taken and delivered swiftly and before long our meals arrived. Absolutely splendid service by a really nice, friendly waitress. Well, the pork ribs were juicy, tender and finger licking good … the meat simply fell off the bone. The burger was delicious, packed full of beefy chargrilled flavor with ample melted cheese and lettuce, tomato and pickles with the piece de resistance being the monkey gland sauce. The chips were perfect, and the fried onion rings …. well, I dont know how they do it … they were individual morsels of crunchy savory delights.This meal was sensational, satisfying and indeed good value for money complimented by a most efficient and courteous table service. We will definitely be back
