Not a fan. I remember the good old grand indian that used to be at this location. Hubby and I used to drive out of our way to stop by there when we wanted Indian take away. Thought we’d stop by tonight, obviously haven’t been in awhile as it’s closed down and Bell pepper has opened in its place. Thought we’d give it a go none the less. First of all, we ordered a large butter chicken, this consisted of about 6 pieces of chicken, and pretty much a tub of sauce. They basically scraped the bucket to fill our container, rather than telling us they only have enough for a medium. Doesn’t matter to much tho, it’s the worst chicken I’ve tasted. The sauce is ok, but the chicken it self tastes absolutely revolting. Possibly a bad batch, but I’m not going to risk it next time. My dogs enjoyed it tho, and I had butter chicken sauce and rice for dinner..
Great food, great value. The same location housed an Indian takeaway under another name. This place has new management, chefs, and ownership and is a big improvement in the previous restaurant. A new family favourite of ours in Riverton.
