Goodportionsizes. Thefoodwas fresh and tasty. We will go back to this restaurant. We ordered stir-fried rice noodles with roast duck rice, iced honey lemon drinks.

Ive lost count of how many times I have been here because number 17 (roast pork noodles) has been my all time favourite ever since its opening. Free bowl of vege soup too, why not?

Absolutely love this place. BBQ pork noodles is delicious. Authentic quality food. Prices are reasonable and it’s always packed! Staff members are friendly and polite:D

If you’re looking for the usual overload of seasoning, anglicised type of fare (your spring rolls, your sweet and sour and black bean nonsense) this is not the place for you. Natural-tasting and with a good variety of dishes. They offer home-made noodles as an alternative to the ready-made, complimentary clear soup, again, very natural flavours.

Very very ordinary.Ordering system like Papa Rich but quality a really distant relative. Hell, actually stuff that. They’re not related. It feels more like a disown son.So we ordered the bbq combination rice, the Hainanese chicken rice, laksa and two bachang. The pork and red bean.Bbq combination and Hainanese chicken rice can be described as very very very very ordinary. The plate is boring, the rice not very tasty and the roasted meat just subpar. Price ain’t exactly cheap either. Whilst generally the food is edible I think for the price this place is very far from established. A lot more refinement need to occur.Laksa was also ordinary. Mine had no prawn on it even though the menu had a photo of a prawn. Instead I had a fishcake. Once again this is edible, just not fantastic. Now bachang. Omg omg omg. Its so glutinous that it’s hard to eat. Someone needs to relearn this classic appetizer in this place. So all in all. Food is so so. Far from restaurant quality. I think the wife sums it up well. The food is very home cooked quality. And that’s where it should stay. Home.

Used to like this place but not anymore… visited like 5 times in total. Personally feel like the food quality (meats) has dropped..The good side of this restaurant is that you get free flow soups.

Authentic. Felt like home. Definitely improved its taste and service since open. Value for money. Taste of dishes very authentic like the one I have in Malaysia or Singapore.
