Authentic South Indian food, tastes homely.Don’t miss the Sunday lunch buffet. Loads of options for vegetarians, and meat curry lovers. Best to make reservations!
Horrible place and food. Briyani was served cold with a small piece of chicken. And when we went to pay, the guy at the counter charged extra saying that the price is based on a separate dine-in menu which was not given to us! The menu given to us as shown stated Dine-in & Takeaway.Very disappointing! Will never come back again!
I ordered food to takeaway. The food was great. The price is reasonable. I Loved the biriyani. I will definitely buy again and recommend it to other people.
LIf you’re going here , don’t try the Indian or vaguely Chinese sounding dishes . Go for the real Sri Lankan stuff . The Kottu Roti – (ribbons or pieces of roti stir fried with spices , veg and occasionally egg and meat ) is nice . The beef biriyani is pretty tasty as well but don’t expect a heavy North Indian dum or layered biriyani. My partner and I both enjoyed the weekend lunch buffet , having eaten South Indian food for most of his life he was very pleasantly surprised- be warned though the buffet is mostly vegetarian and tends to get a lot of customers.November 2017 :Very disappointed this visit , gone are the lovely fresh buffet options. Hope they improve, we really liked this place.
Came here for lunch as it was a quick drive from work and i had heard a few good things about this place. I ordered chicken 65 entree, goat curry, spicy chicken and sampled a bit of my lunch partners briyani.Well the chicken 65 was underwhelming. Quite dry and nothing like what what a good chicken 65 has been described to me. To top things off there were quite a few pieces of neck in there. Probably a third of the dish. The chicken just tasted like some chilli curry leaves and red colouring were fried up. It wasn’t that tasty. Sorry but just doesn’t cut it for me. The goat curry was flavorful but not spicy. The meat was a bit tough in parts and lotsa bones and fat which was a bit odd for goat to be that fatty. The chili chicken was not chili at all. Tasted like a Chinese style chilli dish with chicken onions capsicum and some sauce stir frief along with a few dried chilis…u know what i mean if you get an aussie style Chinese takeaway. I had a taste of the briyani and it was quite nice. That was the best tasting dish and it was a takeaway for my colleagues wife!So maybe this place is good for the briyani and done other dishes we hadn’t sampled perhaps?
Great place for a take away not a fine dine. Food tastes good with ample quantity for the price. Packing is also good . Friendly staff worth trying a take away. Bit spicy. Do try the Kothu parotta.
This place is a little quiet and some may think that its not even open. But please go in and enjoy their amazing food. Some of the best rogan josh I have had. I had never tried an onion bhaji before here but every one since has not compared! What it lacks in ambience, and it is lacking in dining in experience it makes up for in amazing food!
