    A. Beef burger-pattie, pineapple, tomato, beetroot, lettuce, onion, tomato and mayo sauce + chips + coleslaw($19)B. Bannana smoothie ($8)Review:Food-A. Thick pattie, juice of pineapple and great sauce combo makeup for lack of meatiness. Standard bun. Chips better then standard though served cold. Coleslaw good with balanced amount of mayo added. Well presented.B. Standard bannana smoothie.Service-swift considering how busy they were, though lack of friendliness.Ambience-chandelier lighted, carpeted rooms give an antique pub feel.Overall: a solid meal(great flavour combo in the burger and upabove standard presentation), however cold chips, cold service and slight overpricing leave much to be desired.

Reasonable brekky and coffee, quick service in rather cheesy days of yesteryear murals, a goid way to at least spend some time in one of the big old pub dining rooms; kid friendly despite the rather onerous signs which might suggest otherwise

Hoovers! My mother and I come here every time she’s on break, it’s either for lunch or breakfast. You can never go wrong with hoovers!!! Their staff are fabulous, their food and drinks are fabulous. Hoovers has such a beautiful atmosphere!

Must go in Kalgoorlie. When I first found this hotel/cafe, it was in my planning stage for my first visit to Kalgoorlie. In other review, Hoover Cafe is rated as the top place to dine in Kalgoorlie. It was not disappointed. The place is elegant, the service is friendly and of course the food is yum ! Fish & chips is a must try. Also Hoover Cafe is located in the Palace Hotel, the first hotel in Kalgoorlie built in 1897. Not just for food, also a historic place to visit, highly recommended !
