The food here is always fantastic. Watershed wines are OK but their food is great. A must visit when we’re in Margaret River. Great views across the vineyard.
One word: Wow! This winery is near Margret river, in a town called Witchcliff. The restaurant that is attached to the the cellar door boasts on stunning view of the vineyard and a small lake. The day was absolutely stunning and a good way to spend it, is to sit on their patio and sample their rosè. There is a real charm to this place. Attached to the cellar door of the vineyard, the restaurant is surrounded by glass if you choose to sit inside, and can still take advantage of the scenery, as it boasts a peaceful and laid back atmostphere, perfect surrounding to sit back and chuggle down a glass or several glasses vinos.We came here for lunch, they have two menus you can choose from. The restaurant or cafe. The difference being, the cafe food is more burgers and sandwiches, whereas the restaurant had more of what they would call, the refiner stuff. The day we were there, the sun was shining brightly as we ate our chicken burger and steak sandwich with a bottle of house rosè! Splendid. This is the way holidays should be spent. Enjoying it!
Nice views even for a rainy day. Staff were friendly and attentive. The cauliflower side dish was delicious but the rest of the food lacked in flavour. The food was well presented though.
Watershed has an amazing view. The building is very nice and restaurant in clean with friendly staff. It is not fine dining but the food is delicious, well prepared and presented.
